genesis releases "When in rome" on DVD
On Tuesday 20 May 2008 at the Kensington ODEON, Genesis will premiere a special HD cinematic version of 'When In Rome 2007', taken from the forthcoming concert and documentary DVD. The evening will also feature a live Q&A with the band members Tony Banks, Phil Collins and Mike Rutherford. Hosted by Genesis fan Philip Glenister, this unique evening will be simulcast in 20 ODEON cinemas around the UK.

Released by EMI Records on 26 May 2008, 'When In Rome 2007' is a triple DVD featuring over 5½ hours of material, shot during the band's hugely successful 2007 summer tour, 'Turn It On Again', their first in 15 years. The tour ended with a show at Rome's Circo Massimo last July in front of 500,000 fans, and is captured here in its full glory. The package includes a spectacular fly-on-the-wall documentary.

On 20 May, selected ODEON cinema audiences get the chance to watch a full screening of "Come Rain Or Shine," the documentary filmed during the Turn It On Again Tour by filmmaker Anthony Mathile. A fascinating candid insight into the relationship of three band members that has endured for more than four decades, it is an in-depth, unusually frank and humorous look into the dynamics of life on the road and the mechanics, decisions and presentation of a legendary band on tour for the first time in 15 years. Utilising the full cinema sound and the 5.1 surround sound recording, audiences will also be treated to selected footage of the "When In Rome" concert DVD presented in HD.

Tony Banks, Phil Collins and Mike Rutherford of Genesis will attend the DVD Premiere at ODEON Kensington and take part in a Q&A session with fans in the cinema's audience on the night. They will also answer questions from fans across the globe which can be submitted in advance via www.genesis-music.com.

Hosted by fan of the band and the star of Ashes To Ashes and Life On Mars, Philip Glenister, this unique event will be simulcast around the UK and Europe on Tuesday 20 May via the ODEON cinema network from 7:00pm BST (8:00pm CET). Participating ODEON venues in the UK are as follows:
